Vinagrette Like No Other
Our Mom's recipe starts with staple ingredients: Oil and Vinegar. But she kept going and added some of her favorite tastes, with a French and Eastern European influence, including dill, lemon juice, garlic (lots of it), parmesan cheese, and more!

Salad
Salad dressing is how it all started, and our favorite salad is using mixed greens, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese. I also like it with sharp cheddar cheese, instead of the feta. If croutons are your thing, you can also make home-made croutons using the dressing in place of butter/oils.
03
Pasta
Hands down, my kids' favorite dish is penne pasta, rotisserie chicken, broccoli and cauliflower (pre-cooked), tossed in lots of scoops of Rajanne's Original. You can also make a cold pasta salad with your favorite veges and add the sauce before serving.

Meat and Veges
Rajanne's Original is perfect as a marinade for chicken, shrimp, or pork. Just place your meat in a ziploc bag, dump on some dressing and let it marinade for a few hours or overnight. Grill or bake as desired, and it will be moist and popping with flavor. Its great with grilled zucchini, mushrooms, and/or asparagus. Just baste while grilling. My brother-in-law loves it on fish as well. He will pan fry the fish in the sauce and it is so tasty!
The Rajanne's Original Story

Origins
This dressing was a creation of our Mom, Rajanne. She developed this recipe many years ago and it was a sought-after recipe in my hometown in Northwestern Ontario. When she passed away suddenly in 2006 we thought the recipe was lost as she never wrote it down anywhere. However, my Dad spent many days and weeks trying to figure it out, as he knew all the ingredients - just not the amounts. After much testing and tasting, he figured it out perfectly. My Dad has continued making her dressing and sells it around Northwestern Ontario. He has shared the recipe with me, and it is a staple around our house. As you can imagine, this dressing has a very special place in my family’s hearts, and we hope you enjoy it.
